Social Rates
I have a limited number of therapy places at social rates. If it is difficult for you to take advantage of psychotherapy for cost reasons, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Languages
I offer psychotherapy in German and English.
Cancellation policy
Agreed appointments are binding. Appointments must be cancelled 48 hours before they take place by telephone or text message. Appointments that are not cancelled or cancelled too late will be charged in full.
Duration and frequency
As a rule, an individual session lasts 50 minutes, or 90 minutes if desired or necessary. Couple or family sessions last 90 minutes.
The frequency of therapy sessions depends on your individual needs, your problem and your level of suffering. Sessions usually take place once a week, every two weeks or once a month. Regularity is particularly important here, as this significantly promotes the success of the therapy. The time between sessions can always be discussed and adapted to your needs.
Billing
The therapy unit must be paid in cash at the end of the session. Alternatively, from the fourth session onwards, it is possible to transfer the outstanding amount to the specified account within 7 days of receiving the fee note.
Confidentiality
As a psychotherapist in training under supervision, I am bound to confidentiality in accordance with § 15 of the Psychotherapy Act, Federal Law Gazette No. 361/1990. This confidentiality also applies to third parties and beyond the end of the psychotherapy. This also applies to authorities, doctors, relatives, as well as for children and adolescents towards their parents.
The duty of confidentiality is essential to enable a trusting relationship in our work together. What is said will not leave the practice premises.
Documentation
In addition to the duty of confidentiality, I also have to fulfil other professional obligations, including the duty of documentation. The notes I make serve both as a guide and to document the course of psychotherapy. The documentation is protected by me against unauthorised access. Of course, you yourself have the right to inspect your progress documentation.
Data protection
You can find detailed information on data protection in my privacy policy.
It should be mentioned that the Psychotherapy Act already anticipates many areas of the GDPR (DSGVO) on the basis of the duty of confidentiality regulated therein.
